  • Madita Knöpfle
    MA in Scandinavian Studies and Musicology at the University of Basel. Subsequently studied Icelandic as foreign language and Italian at the University of Iceland in Reykjavík. Since August 2018 part of the Literature Studies graduate program of the University of Basel working on a PhD on the early forms of the Icelandic novel and assistant to the Department of Old Norse.

  • Balduin Landolt
    BA in Scandinavian Studies and German at the University of Basel, spent a year studying Icelandic as a foreign language with a scholarship from the University of Iceland in Reykjavík. Currently doing an MA in Scandinavian Studies and German at the University of Basel.

  • Maria Tranter
    BA in English und History at the University of Basel, did her MA in Medieval and Renaissance Studies at the University of Durham. From 2014 to 2018 employed as researcher at the Department of History in Basel, working on a PhD on the perception of medieval heresy that was completed in February 2019. Currently studying the practices and perceptions of marriage in Anglo-Saxon England.

  • Fabienne Schwizer
    BA in English and History at the University of Basel and an MA in Medieval Studies at the University of York. 
Returned 2016 with a starter scholarship at the Basel Graduate School of History, since then working on a PhD to the uses of history in the works of Gerald of Wales. Since 2016 also employed for the Edition of the Bernoulli letters at the Department of Mathematics.
